Film Contest

Get Creative

Create a short film (ten minutes or shorter) relating to the themes of Three Cups of Tea and compete for publicity, cash, and other prizes. Click here to download the film contest flyer!

How?

  3. Include a $20 entry fee (can be waived) with your entry form.
  4. Upload your film to www.youtube.com/group/mvreads


"You Can Change Your World" Youth Contest

We believe that young people can make a difference too. Have you started a community project? Do you have a dream to help make the world a better place?

Who?

Individuals or groups of students in grades 3-12*. At least one member of a group must be a resident of Mountain View or Los Altos. *Those who lead the project must be students. Adults may assist.

What?

Submit a description of your project in 200-500 words. You may enter an existing project or one you hope to start. Include photos, letters of recommendation and other supporting material.

When?

All entries must be received on or before November 1, 2008. Submit by e-mail to Karin.bricker@mountainview.gov or bring to the Children’s Services Desk at the Mountain View Public Library, 585 Franklin Street.
